Retranchement, on the border between the Netherlands and Belgium, is a popular stopover for the many cyclists and walkers exploring the Zwin region. Located along the Kanaal and surrounded by former defensive ramparts dating from the early 1600s, in the middle of a beautiful nature reserve and close to the beaches of Cadzand-Bad, Retranchement charms many.
The building area of this plot amounts to 123 m² and starts about 9 metres from the plot boundary at the front facade and runs to the plot boundary at the rear facade. This gives you a front yard of 111 m².
The main building may only be built on the building plot with a minimum width of 4.80 metres. The maximum gutter height of the main building should be 3.5 metres and ridge height 7.5 metres. The distance of the main building to one of the side plot boundaries
should be realised at least 50cm from the plot boundary.
Additions, extensions and annexes may only be built in the yard and within the building plot (building lines).
